Business Consultant (Animal Health) - Scotland

PE Global is recruiting a business consultant for our multinational pharmaceutical client based in Scotland/Cumbria on an initial 12-month contract. This role is fully remote.

Responsibilities of the role:
• Join a dynamic companion animal sales team as an Account Manager.
• The Business Consultant will be responsible for helping Company to solve issues, create value, maximize growth and improve business performance.
• Consultants are primarily focused on the strategy, structure, management and operations of an organization.
• They will identify options for the organization and suggest recommendations for change, as well as advising on additional resources to implement solutions.
• You will work with Veterinary practices building long term sustainable and profitable relationships to increase market share and stimulate market growth for the companion animal portfolio.
• Within a specific geographical area (West of Scotland & North Cumbria) and designated accounts, you will develop business to achieve agreed regional sales targets, within budget and in accordance with the overall business unit strategy.

Requirements:
• Knowledge of the veterinary and Animal Health Industry would be advantageous but not essential. Alternatively, experience in the human pharma or medical devices sectors.
• Previous sales experience
• Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with a wide range of customers and team members
• Excellent communicator (verbally and in writing) clearly and succinctly demonstrating customer centricity at all times
• Quick to learn and adapt; ready to learn and ask lots of questions, demonstrating a growth mindset
• Passion and persistence
