The role will support the timely and comprehensive mapping of existing clinical pathways, allocation of their re-design to EPR modules of work, and the design of new pathways that take advantage of the transformation opportunities provided by the introduction of the solution and complement of supporting solutions.

The Business Analyst will support the application of best practice transformation principles to nurture staff willingness and ableness to adopt new ways of working.

In addition to direct line reports, transformation responsibilities will be exercised via a matrix management structure.

Support the delivery of the programme activities to discover existing pathways of care, understand the capabilities of the EPR solution.
Contribute to the design and assurance of transformed pathways of care and support the ability and willingness of stakeholders to adopt the new ways of working.
Support enduring professional and effective relationships with third party providers.
Support the delivery of packages of work within the agreed time.
Support system adoption and benefits realisation, including dress rehearsals, classroom simulation, floor walking and optimisation during and post go-live.
Support the new ways of working compliance with the DCB0160 Clinical Safety Standards.You will be responsible for supporting the use of a robust, common project management approach to assist with planning and delivery of the intended outputs and outcomes. They will also ensure that benefits of the programmes/projects are realised and to lead changes into business-as-usual activity.

The Business Analyst, will support the EPR Programme with specific responsibility for the quality improvement aspects

Demonstrate a high level of computer-literacy including creation and use of sprea

change management required to bring in the new system. The post will work closely with Care Groups and the EPR programme team to ensure all deliverables and opportunities are aligned.

Educated to degree level or equivalent

Relevant experience.dsheets, databases, charts, reports and data analysis in formats that will enable informed decision-making, working with a high degree of accuracy.

Design and plan programmes and projects aligned to eCare, ensuring clear aims and measures for improvement identified.

Process map existing pathways and make improvements to ensure they align with the new EPR system.

Identify and document benefits that will be realised during and after change implementation.

Conduct analysis throughout project delivery and after project completion to ensure learning is taken forward, and benefits realisation is achieved.

Write progress reports and formal presentations for submission to a variety of groups, Boards, governing bodies, and other key stakeholders as required.

Be responsible for the financial management of assigned resources, ensuring costs are monitored and managed and efficiencies realised where appropriate.

Research national and system-wide initiatives to identify best practice and shared learning.

Be aware of the wider health economy and government policies affecting the Trust and patient care. Incorporate these policies into the eCare agenda.

Be conversant with NHS developments and able to access support that national-level organisations such as the NHS Elect and NHS Improvement can offer to help us move forward.

Identify opportunities to develop new roles in support of digital transformation and service delivery.

Identifying solutions to overcome barriers to change and evidencing improved outcomes from changes implemented.

Measuring benefits realised and releasing true efficiencies.

Championing others to make the changes and embed them and having an innovative approach to identify opportunities and ways to get others to support change.

Embedding digital transformation changes as business as usual.

Arrange and lead project related meetings at various stages throughout the projects.

Nurture a culture of change through encouraging and empowering individuals and teams to focus on improving patient care.

Utilise Smartsheet software in the effective management of projects and programmes.

Attendance at team and project meetings, acting as a meeting chair in some instances.

Provide cover for colleagues as appropriate.

Undertake any other duties requested as appropriate to the banding.

To participate in an annual individual performance review process with the line manager

Network and collaborate with internal teams, including business intelligence, to provide the analysis necessary to identify opportunities to support the digital transformation.

Support and teach operational and clinical staff digital transformation skills, tools, and techniques.

Develop effective working relationships with key external stakeholders

Nurture a culture of digital transformation through encouraging and empowering individuals and teams to focus on improving patient care.

Work with other organisations to identify best practice and opportunities for improvement.

Support the operational and clinical teams in quality and performance improvement

Engage with clinicians, management, and other stakeholders to deliver a single and consistent approach throughout the project

Persuade and motivate stakeholders to obtain buy in of the importance of a project management approach and delivery of the project.

Effectively present and communicate project plans or associated project documentation to programme groups as required.

Sometimes communicating difficult messages such as delays in the management of a project plan.

Ensure all communication, which may be complex, contentious, or sensitive, is undertaken in a responsive and inclusive manner, focusing on improvement and ways to move forward.

Ensure that robust project control is in place and maintained including project documentation, scheduling tasks
