Business Analyst (Technology Integration)
Contract Length: 4 Months Contract
Day Rate: £370 per day
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
Location: Birmingham (Hybrid, 1-2 days per week onsite)
Overview
We are seeking a Mid-Level Business Analyst to support a major business integration programme following a recent acquisition. The programme is currently in its discovery phase and is expected to run for approximately 12 months, with the initial 4-month engagement focused on Technology and IT workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.
Facilitate stakeholder workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
Conduct business process analysis and process mapping activities.
Support technology integration workstreams within a wider transformation programme.
Analyse datasets and produce reporting using Excel and other relevant tools.
Document current and future-state processes.
Coordinate with business and IT teams to ensure successful delivery of technology change initiatives.
Support application discovery, assessment, testing, and migration activities.
Assist with end-user computing and device deployment projects.
Contribute to organisational change initiatives and user adoption activities.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven Business Analysis experience within IT, technology, and transformation programmes.
Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills.
Experience facilitating workshops and documenting outcomes.
Business process mapping and process improvement experience.
Strong Excel and data analysis capability.
Experience supporting desktop deployment and end-user computing projects.
Windows 11 rollout experience.
Knowledge of device deployment and decommissioning activities.
Experience with application discovery, assessment, and testing.
Exposure to Azure migration projects.
Experience supporting SaaS application migrations and onboarding.
Understanding of user access management, identity, and network-related processes.
Ability to produce clear business and technical documentation.
Experience supporting large-scale organisational change and integration programmes.
Desirable Experience
Experience working on acquisition, merger, or integration programmes.
Exposure to enterprise-wide technology transformation initiatives.
Experience working across multiple concurrent workstreams
