Contract Business Analyst - Identity Management

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contract Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in our customers ongoing Identity Management project. This project involves the coordination and analysis of approximately 1500 applications, with a focus on transitioning to a cloud-based identity and access management solution. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge in cloud technologies, security, and identity management, coupled with the ability to navigate a complex, supplier-heavy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate the analysis of applications and authentication methods
Validate the accuracy of application data, maintaining a clean master tracker as the "golden source."
Assist with standardising Jira reporting to enhance project tracking and reporting.
Conduct extensive analysis of applications, identifying requirements for cloud migration and security improvements.
Collaborate with a core team, and various external suppliers to drive the migration of critical systems to cloud.
Address legacy system challenges, leveraging existing documentation and knowledge to facilitate the transition process.
Foster a consultancy and collaboration mindset among application teams, clarifying roles and expectations in the project.Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong background in cyber security, identity management (IDAM), and cloud technologies.
Demonstrated ability to work in complex, supplier-heavy environments, ideally with experience in managing relationships with multiple suppliers.
Familiarity with legacy systems and the challenges associated with transitioning to modern, cloud-based solutions.
Proficiency in Jira or similar tools, with the ability to standardise reporting and tracking methodologies.
Strong analytical skills, capable of conducting thorough analysis and validation of application data.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A proactive, "sleeves rolled up" mindset, ready to tackle a wide range of challenges and drive significant change within the organisation.Contract Details:

Location: Flexible, can be remote.
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: £450 per day
