The Role
As a Chartered Building Surveyor, you'll deliver a wide range of professional building surveying services while managing projects from inception to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering condition surveys, defect diagnosis and technical due diligence.
Managing refurbishment, maintenance and improvement projects.
Preparing specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation.
Administering JCT building contracts through all project stages.
Undertaking dilapidations, party wall matters and reinstatement cost assessments.
Building strong relationships with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
Supporting business development and helping grow key client accounts.
Mentoring junior surveyors and assisting with project financial management.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
MRICS Chartered status.
A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
Experience working within a consultancy environment.
Strong knowledge of commercial, retail or education sector properties.
Excellent experience administering JCT contracts.
Outstanding communication and client relationship skills.
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Experience using NBS Chorus is advantageous but not essential.
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.
