Building Surveyor

Mattinson Partnership has been asked to recruit for an experienced Building Surveyor on behalf of one of our clients who happen to be a client-side organisation based in the heart of the big smoke.

This is an initial 3-month contract with an immediate requirement for someone who can hit the ground running and provide a safe, experienced pair of hands across a varied property portfolio.

The Role

Working client side, you'll be responsible for managing a diverse range of projects across predominantly commercial and industrial properties, with a small amount of residential and some heritage work.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, liaising with consultants and contractors and ensuring projects are delivered effectively from inception through to completion.

What they are looking for

* Strong Building Surveying experience, ideally within a client-side or consultancy environment (although public sector backgrounds will also be considered).

* Proven ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.

* Experience across commercial and industrial property, with some exposure to residential or heritage assets advantageous.

* A calm, pragmatic approach and the confidence to work autonomously.

* Someone who is a steady pair of hands—reliable, experienced, and able to add value from day one.

* MRICS is not essential experience and the right attitude are more important.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established client-side team on an initial 3-month contract, working on a varied portfolio with the potential for the assignment to extend.

Rate: £500–£600 per day
