Are you an experienced Building Surveyor looking for your next Local Authority opportunity?
We're working with a Midlands-based council seeking a Building Surveyor to support the delivery of repairs, maintenance, and planned works across their property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities for building surveyor role:
* Carry out property inspections and condition surveys.
* Diagnose defects and prepare specifications of work.
* Oversee contractors and monitor project delivery.
* Produce technical reports and provide surveying advice.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
Requirements for building surveyor role:
* Previous Building Surveying experience.
* Experience within Local Authority or Social Housing desirable.
* Strong knowledge of building repairs and maintenance.
* Excellent communication and report-writing skills
