Description:

Local authority in Greater Manchester are looking for a housing surveyor - Awaab's law on an initial three month basis.

Purpose of the role:

Temporary Surveyor to support our Housing Services team, with a key focus on HHSRS assessments, damp and mould investigations, disrepair works and preparation for Awaab's Law requirements.

The successful candidate will undertake inspections, diagnose building defects, manage remedial works, oversee contractors and support compliance activities across our housing stock.

Applicants should have surveying experience within housing, repairs, maintenance or asset management alongside strong knowledge of HHSRS, damp and mould management and relevant housing legislation.

3 months initially

Hybrid working

£375 per day (£50 an hour umbrella)

37 hours per week

Mon - Fri

Start ASAP

Initially three months likely to be longer
