Hays are working in partnership with a well-respected engineering consultancy in Omagh to recruit a Building Services Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-established practice, gaining exposure to a wide range of commercial, education, healthcare and public-sector projects.

Your new role
You'll join a supportive team of experienced engineers, working on the design and delivery of building services solutions across a diverse project portfolio. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their technical expertise, gain hands-on project experience and progress their career within a professional building services environment.

Assisting with the design and coordination of mechanical and electrical building services systems.
Supporting senior engineers with calculations, drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
Producing and reviewing design information using software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
Attending project and design team meetings, contributing to multidisciplinary coordination.
Carrying out site surveys, inspections and condition assessments.
Assisting with project delivery from concept through to completion.
Ensuring designs comply with current regulations, industry standards and best practice.
Supporting sustainable and energy-efficient design solutions across a range of projects.What you'll need to succeed

A degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Previous experience within a building services consultancy environment is desirable, whether through employment or a placement year.
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to learning and development.
Good problem-solving abilities and the ability to work effectively as part of a project team.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit would be advantageous.
A genuine interest in building services design and professional development.
Full UK/Irish Driving Licence.What you'll get in return
