Building Manager - City of London

Permanent

Full-time in office

Salary depending on experience

Join a growing team as a Building Manager and become part of a dynamic and vibrant business in the property industry. With my client, a leader in creative and customisable serviced office rentals, you'll have the opportunity to manage multiple buildings and create a warm and hospitable office environment for their members.

As their Building Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of three buildings, overseeing approximately 300 members at full capacity and ensuring their satisfaction. You will work closely with the management team to meet goals and maintain the highest standards of service.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Building strong relationships with our members, ensuring they feel valued and important with excellent communication and personal service.
Maintaining the highest standards of presentation both inside and outside the building, overseeing maintenance, cleaning, deliveries, and access.
Ensuring the building remains a safe environment for all licensees, employees, visitors, and contractors, managing fire, electrical, and health & safety records and procedures.
Promoting and implementing our sustainability initiatives, including energy efficiency, recycling, and local volunteering.
Managing their CRM system.
Supporting with viewings and onboarding for new members.
The BM will be required to engage with the local community and develop relationships; this could be offering police / street cleaners / postmen access to toilets, engaging with local food and beverage providers, helping people in need outside the building, etc.
The BM will be responsible for attending member events to build the client community and connect with local businesses. The quality, frequency, and communication will be the responsibility of the CM; however a monthly event is expected at the very least.

To succeed in this role, you should have previous experience preferably in office management, hotels, retail, or customer service. Excellent English communication skills, a positive and motivated attitude, and the ability to problem solve are essential.

As part of the team, you will not only play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our buildings but also become part of a supportive and friendly work family.
