Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician

Job Description: They are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced Building Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks in commercial settings, demonstrating strong leadership abilities and excellent customer service skills. The role covers the an area of Hampshire/Berkshire/Surrey and some London areas. Holding a full drivers licence is essential. .
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform general maintenance and handyperson duties
* Clear vegetation
* Conduct PAT Testing
* Handle small plumbing works
* Repair doors
* Install carpet tiles and stair nosings
* Assist other trades and gain skill training
* Procure materials and equipment for tasks
* Complete work sheets via our mobile app
Qualifications and Skills:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a maintenance or similar role
* Expertise in various trades, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
* Excellent customer service skills for professional stakeholder interactions
* Proficiency in English for effective communication
* Comfortable using mobile apps and digital tools for reporting
* Skills in general maintenance activities
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
* Knowledge of property services/facilities management preferred, but not essential
* Any previous compliance or trades experience a bonus
* Preferably IPAF/PASMA trained, but not essential
* Able to work unsupervised
* Full clean driving license
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
Salary and Benefits:
* Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Work Hours:
* Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional on-call duties
