Key Responsibilities

Carry out regulated building inspections in line with RBI competency requirements.
Assess building work for compliance with Building Regulations and associated legislation.
Inspect a variety of projects ranging from residential developments to complex commercial schemes.
Review plans, specifications, and technical submissions.
Produce accurate, timely, and professional inspection reports.
Build strong working relationships with clients, contractors, architects, and developers.
Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
Stay current with changes in legislation, regulations, and industry best practice.
Support the successful delivery of safe, compliant, high-quality construction projects.Essential Requirements

Registered Building Inspector with a minimum competency of Class 2D or above.
Experience within Building Control, Building Inspection, Construction Compliance, or a related technical discipline.
Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Ability to manage your own workload and inspection programme.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Willingness to travel throughout Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, and Northamptonshire.Desirable Qualifications & Professional Memberships

Registered above Class 2D or 2E or 2F or 3G with experience on more complex projects.
Membership, registration, or development pathway with:
CABE
Building Safety Competence Foundation (BSCF/LABC)
Total Training
Experience across commercial, industrial, higher-risk, or complex developments.
