Description:

Our client, a Local Authority based in the South West, are currently seeking a Building Control Surveyor to join their team on a contract basis. As a Building Control Surveyor, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with building regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting inspections to assess compliance with building regulations and standards
Reviewing and approving building plans and drawings
Providing expert advice and guidance to clients, architects, and contractors
Investigating and resolving issues related to building control
Carrying out site visits and project monitoring
Preparing reports and documentation
Collaborating with other professionals in the construction industry
Staying up-to-date with changes in building and construction regulations

Job Requirements:

Significant experience in Building Control
Strong knowledge of building regulations and standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Proficient in the use of relevant software and technologyKey Information:

3 month initial contract
£55/h - £60/h
5 days per week
