Do you want to work for one of the most iconic and exciting British Motorcycling brands, driving engineering excellence across their range of products? Jonathan Lee is working with a niche manufacturer of EV Motorcycles seeking a Build Technician / Engineer to support the prototype build, test and launch of their new product range.

As a Build Technician / Engineer you will need to be able to demonstrate experience in stripping down, assembling, building, and testing of prototype parts and systems for new vehicle programmes. Responsibilities will include:

The test and development of prototypes and subassemblies; ensuring that all the deadlines from the engineering department are met. This includes all engineering needs for vehicle builds, testing and validation.
Strip down and repair motorcycles both onsite and at dealerships to ensure prototype parts are functional and fit for purpose, while service requirements and agreements are delivered against.
Support the current build team in the development of the new EV range, being bale to fault find and repair motorcycles using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
Document, track, and communicate build issues to ensure timely resolutions.  This will include root cause analysis for prototype build problems.
Be responsible for maintaining proper documentation aligned to prototype release and the servicing of motorcycles.         
As a Build Technician / Engineer you will have the following skills and experience:

Knowledge of strip down and build of relevant two-wheeler and ideally EV systems within the automotive field covering either mechanical and/or electrical systems
Demonstrable knowledge of motorcycles and their functioning with strong problem solving & testing capabilities.
Knowledge of running Dyno testing for new and current motorcycles would be advantageous
