Look no further! GSL Education is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Qualified BSL Teacher to join our client schools in the vibrant heart of Camden.
Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from the UK
Specialisation in British Sign Language (BSL) with relevant certifications
Expertise:
Proficiency in BSL, with a deep understanding of its linguistic and cultural aspects
Experience in teaching BSL to diverse groups, including children and adults
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Personal Qualities:
Passion for promoting inclusivity and accessibility through sign language
Patience, empathy, and adaptability in working with diverse learners
Commitment to ongoing professional development and improvement
Job Responsibilities:
Lead captivating BSL lessons that ignite curiosity and foster communication skills.
Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every student feels valued and empowered.
Collaborate with fellow educators to develop innovative lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
Provide personalised support and guidance to students, nurturing their confidence and proficiency in BSL.
