Act as the primary point of contact for brokers, providing expert guidance and support throughout the underwriting process.
Evaluate loan applications, assess risks, and make informed decisions on whether to proceed with the sale based on established criteria and company policies.
Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial analysis, property valuations, and risk assessments, to ensure the viability and profitability of each transaction.
Stay abreast of market trends, industry regulations, and best practices in underwriting to continuously improve processes and mitigate risks.
Provide timely and accurate feedback to brokers, keeping them informed of the status of their applications and addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly.Requirements of a Bridging Underwriter:
Proven experience as a Bridging Underwriter in the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of Bridging finance
Sound knowledge of underwriting principles, risk management techniques, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex financial data and make informed decisions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with brokers and internal stakeholders.
Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
