TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School based in the Swansea area. This school is known for inspiring learning, enriching lives and delivering success and has recently celebrated many successful years in education and training. This largely populated school works with many charities in the surrounding area.
This school is looking to take on a driven and ambitious Teaching Assistant on a full time basis (5 days a week) that could potentially lead to a long-term position. The successful applicant will be working with students from the age 16 onwards who will need support with SEND difficulties; these could include anything from ASD, ADHD, Autism, Asperges, Behavioural Issues, Emotional Issues or Trauma issues. This role will be crucial in giving the students the support they need and helping them to achieve excellent results within their subjects, whilst following and implementing the schemes of a great teaching assistant.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant.
Experience with secondary school pupils.
SEN experience.
