Construction & Building Projects
Passionate and hardworking Bricklayer with experience contributing to residential, commercial, and refurbishment projects from foundation level to final finishes. Skilled in creating strong, durable, and visually appealing brickwork while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and site safety standards.
I take great pride in transforming plans on paper into structures that will stand for generations. Whether building new walls, restoring existing masonry, or working as part of a larger construction team, I enjoy seeing a project progress from the ground up and knowing that my craftsmanship plays a key role in the finished result.
Key Responsibilities
Constructing brick, block, and stone structures to precise specifications and building regulations.
Reading and interpreting architectural drawings, site plans, and technical documentation.
Measuring, marking, and cutting materials accurately to ensure quality workmanship.
Mixing and applying mortar consistently to create strong and visually appealing finishes.
Building foundations, cavity walls, retaining walls, extensions, and structural features.
Repairing, restoring, and repointing damaged or ageing brickwork.
Installing lintels, damp-proof courses, insulation, and reinforcement materials where required.
Collaborating with site managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure projects remain on schedule.
Conducting quality checks throughout construction to ensure structural integrity and high standards.
Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organised manner.
