Brazer / Welder
Location: Near Uxbridge (commutable from Uxbridge, Denham, Slough, High Wycombe, Watford, Hayes, Rickmansworth, Gerrards Cross and surrounding areas)
Salary: £35,500 starting salary (£18.45ph on 37 hour week)
Start Date: ASAP (notice periods considered)
This role would suit candidates with experience in brazing, TIG welding, fabrication or precision engineering who enjoy working on complex assemblies to exacting aerospace standards.

As a Brazer / Welder, you'll play a key role in manufacturing and repairing precision-engineered components used within world-leading aerospace products, where quality, accuracy and consistency are critical.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am – 12:00pm
Overtime available at 1.5x basic rates

Brazer / Welder – Responsibilities
* Carrying out low-temperature silver brazing and high-temperature brass brazing on pipes, fittings and sub-assemblies
* Performing arc welding, including TIG welding, on aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel components
* Working from engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications
* Setting and operating spot welding equipment
* Preparing components through deburring, polishing and cleaning processes
* Carrying out visual inspections and quality checks, including ball bearing testing where required
* Supporting development work, including proof-of-concept welding activities
* Assisting with welding and fabrication tasks across production and maintenance when required
Brazer / Welder – Requirements
* Previous experience in brazing and arc welding within an engineering or manufacturing environment
* TIG welding experience
* Experience working with aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Competent using workshop equipment, hand tools and measuring equipment
* Welding qualifications or certifications would be advantageous
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
