Branch Manager
• Hawick
• Up to £45,000
• Monday – Friday
• 07.30am to 5.00pm + alternate Saturdays from 08.00am to 12.00pm.
A leading builders merchants with a long history of providing high-quality products to the construction industry is searching for a Branch Manager to join their team.
You will be responsible for leading and managing the branch to help drive sales growth, ensure operational efficiency, maintain an efficient and productive work place and build strong relationships with your customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
• Branch Management experience within a Builders Merchants, Wholesalers or Distribution environment
• Proven knowledge of construction supplies, trade regulations and standards
• A track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
• The ability to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
• Up to date with key H&S standards
What You’ll Be Doing
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch, including supervising a team of sales and warehouse staff
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and increase revenue
• Monitor and control branch inventory levels, ensuring that stock levels are optimized and losses are minimized
• Build strong customer relations by delivering a high level of customer service
• Ensure team achieve their sales and performance targets
