Salary: Competitve
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm) + 1 in 2 Saturdays according to rota (5 out of 6 working days per week)
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Branch Manager on behalf of our client based in Chandlers Ford. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding retail business with an excellent opportunity of career advancement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management, performance and profitability of the branch.
Lead the team to achieve and exceed sales targets, KPIs and financial objectives.
Drive new business opportunities whilst developing strong relationships with both new and existing customers and suppliers.
Manage sales, margins and overheads to deliver best-in-class financial performance.
Coach, develop, motivate and inspire colleagues to maximise individual and team performance.
Create a positive, customer-focused culture that consistently delivers exceptional service.
Build productive relationships with the wider business to maximise customer value and business growth.
Ensure high standards of branch presentation, housekeeping, stock management and operational efficiency.
Champion a strong health and safety culture, promoting colleague wellbeing and ensuring compliance with company standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
Previous branch management, retail management or supervisory experience within a similar environment.
Proven ability to lead, develop and inspire a successful team.
Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business.
A proactive, hands-on leader who takes ownership and delivers results with urgency.
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage branch performance and profitability.
Excellent customer service skills with a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Confident communicator with the ability to build lasting relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative and make informed decisions.
Knowledge of the local area would be advantageous.
