Brake Press Operator

Salary up to £39,087.36 DOE
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Brake Press Operator to join a busy and well-established manufacturing team in Dorking. This Brake Press Operator role offers the opportunity to work with modern CNC equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
As a Brake Press Operator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality components, working to engineering drawings and tight tolerances, while maintaining high safety and quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Brake Press Operator looking for a stable, long-term position.
Key Responsibilities:
Set and operate CNC brake press machinery as a Brake Press Operator
Interpret technical drawings and manufacture components to specification
Carry out self-inspection to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain excellent housekeeping and health & safety standards
Work as part of a team to achieve production targetsRequirements:
Proven experience working as a Brake Press Operator
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Experience working with stainless and mild steel
Reliable and team-oriented approachShift Pattern:
40 hours per week (permanent role)
Rotating weekly shifts:
Early: 5:45am – 1:45pm
Late: 2:15pm – 10:15pm
Monday to Friday
Paid 30-minute break each dayImportant:
Candidates must be able to travel to Dorking, as public transport does not support these shift timesBenefits:
