Description:
The Best Connection are working with our client based in Birtley and is a well-established engineering company. Due to increased levels of business they now require a Brake Press Operator to start immediately.
Duties include:
* Set and running of Pyramid Roll Brake Press machine
* Checking height, depth and other tolerances using callipers and gauges
* Quality inspection of the product using visual and dimensional inspection
* Bend and form the product
* Working in a heavy industry environment
Hours of work:
* Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm
* Friday 7.00am – 12.00
Pay rate:
* Basic £14.16 per hour
* Overtime paid after 40 hours at £21.24
* Overtime paid after 45 hours at £23.60
The role is being offered on an ongoing temporary basis however there are opportunities for permanent contracts for the right candidates.
