We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and hardworking individual, with experience within a small to medium sized accountancy practice to join the team as a Part time Bookkeeper (Full Time Applicants may also be considered)
The company based in central Manchester provides a relaxed environment within nice offices
* Flexitime
* Hybrid working 1 days a week working from home 2 days office
* Salary £27-35k DOE (pro rata)
You will be working collaboratively within the bookkeeping team to meet clients bookkeeping needs.
A key part of the role will also include the preparation and review of VAT returns as well as the preparation of management accounts where required by our client portfolio.
Experience/Skills required:
* Practice experience
* Strong bookkeeping knowledge of Xero, Sage and or other accounting systems
* VAT return preparation, review and submission
* Managements accounts preparation
* Strong Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent planning and organisational skills
* Keen to learn and develop new skills
Responsibilities:
* Bookkeeping for clients
* Liaising with clients and dealing with client queries regarding Bookkeeping
* Preparing, reviewing and submitting VAT Returns
* Preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly management information
* Raising sales invoices for clients
