We are looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our friendly team. This is a flexible opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual with experience using Sage Line 50, helping to manage our purchase ledger and day-to-day bookkeeping activities.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Administration, you will work closely with the company accountant and heads of department to ensure the smooth running of the accounts payable function.

Duties include:

*    Entering purchase invoices onto Sage Line 50.
*    Obtaining approval for invoices from the relevant department and checking they match delivery notes.
*    Maintaining records of payments due.
*    Processing supplier payments when instructed.
*    Reconciling the company current account on a weekly basis.
*    Reconciling the invoice finance account each month.
*    Cashing up shop takings.
*    Reconciling petty cash daily.
*    Filing invoices in date order each month.
*    Supervising contra payments.
*    Reconciling supplier statements to the purchase ledger.

What We're Looking For

*    Experience using Sage Line 50.
*    Previous bookkeeping or purchase ledger experience.
*    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
*    Strong organisational skills.
*    Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
