Description:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our Ilkeston based client for a well organised Bookkeeper / Accountant to manage all aspects of its invoicing and credit control, payment of purchases and preparation of accounts. Initially a temporary role, this could become a permanent position
Duties -
-Sales Ledger
-Purchase Ledger
-Self-billing
-Statement reconciliation
-Credit control
-Bank reconciliation
-Preparation of VAT returns
-Reporting to the Group Financial Controller / Interacting with the external accountant.
What we are looking for -
-Sage 50 experience essential (minimum 2 years experience)
-Sage Payroll experience preferred
-AAT Qualified Level 2 or above
-Experience in preparation of monthly management accounts
-Computer literate including very proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel
-Reliable, motivated hard-working and flexible
-Self-organised with plenty of initiative
