Do you have previous experience with accounts & bookkeeping and are looking to work within a well established, reputable company based in Stourbridge? This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is determined to progress in their career and wanting to work within property & accounts.
Job Brief:
The main purpose of the role will be to oversee all the company trading accounts, to assist with rental accounts as necessary and to support the Director and the property team with various admin tasks.
Day to day tasks and responsibilities will be as follows:
* Purchase Ledger
* Sales Ledger
* Nominal ledger
* Journals
* Credit control
* Payroll – Monthly Payroll for up to 13 people
* Working on a Liberty accounts program (similar to Sage accounts system)
* Assisting with diary management, typing of letters, correspondence, emails
* General administration support
* Making and answering incoming calls
The right candidate must:
* Have experience of working in an accounts capacity and capable of taking responsibility for the detailed accounting tasks
* Be conscientious, with good attention to detail and organisational skills
* Be confident, enthusiastic, company-minded and team driven
* Be fully computer literate
* Possess an excellent telephone manner
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, 1 hour lunch
Salary: £23,000 to £27,000 depending upon experience
