Bookkeeper
1-2 days a week
£15-£20 per hour
Looking to recruit a part time Bookkeeper to join a family run business in Ipswich on a permanent contract.
This is an exciting, hands on role within the business and is perfect for someone looking for a flexible part time hours, who has experience of companies accounts working up to month end.
The purpose of this position is to provide a high quality administration role within the finance department.
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Raising invoices for ground rents and insurance rechargeable to tenants of leasehold property.
• Calculating and raising invoices for annual management charge.
• Regular reconciliation of the intercompany accounts.
• Completion and submission of Form P11D Expenses and Benefits.
• Assessment of dividends to make best use of current tax rules and generation of supporting paperwork.
• Completion of working papers for external accountant in connection with the preparation of property businesses end of year statutory accounts.
• Checking statutory accounts produced by external accountant and posting journals in Sage to match.
• Rolling forward Sage into new financial year.
• Calculation of annual budget and entry into Sage for variance analysis purposes.
