*    Full time, permanent
*    £25,000 - £26,000 depending on experience and qualifications

The Role:

As a Bookkeeper, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our clients' financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

*    Execute bookkeeping tasks: VAT returns, bank reconciliations, and analysis
*    Manage client bookkeeping on Xero with precision
*    Assist in preparing statutory accounts and company secretarial duties
*    Contribute to completing Self-Assessment Tax Returns
*    Process weekly/monthly payroll and handle CIS where necessary
*    Perform general administration tasks and communicate effectively with clients

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone who is AAT-qualified or ACCA part-qualified, with at least 2 years of practice experience.

The successful applicant will also meet the following:

*    Experience in accounts to trial balance and general bookkeeping within a practice environment
*    Proficient in preparing VAT returns and performing bank reconciliations
*    Familiarity with Xero for client bookkeeping
*    Working knowledge of TaxCalc Accounting software is preferable but training will be given
