Bookkeeper

Bookkeeper | £30 - 35k | Manchester City Centre |  Temp (potential to go perm)

Axon Moore are proud to be partnered with this fast growing business in the search of a temp to perm Bookkeeper. This role is perfect for someone who is part qualified, has a good understanding of processes  and who can take full ownership of this role. Start date of 25th -26th June.

Main Duties

Sales

Prepare customer renewal pricing and send out on a timely basis along with customer SLA’s ensuring that they are signed and returned for filing.
Chase renewals to ensure that PO’s are provided to enable invoicing.
Raise sales invoice and process onto accounting system
Credit control – chase sales invoices to ensure that they are paid on a timely basis.

Purchases

Process purchase invoices received ensuring approvals are received from appropriate manager.
Raise supplier payments for approval.

Expenses

Process employee cash expense and mileage claims ensuring that all claims are receipted and have been approved by line manager.
Process employee credit card statements including chasing employees for receipts.

Other

Maintained fixed asset
Maintenance of general ledgers
Balance sheet reconciliations
Stock management & reconciliations
Providing day to day finance support to staff across all functions

Experience

Prior experience of working with Sage Line 50 would be beneficial
AAT/ACCA/CIMA/bookkeeping qualifications would be desirable
Competent with Excel.
A team player, proactive, and able to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment & able to meet tight deadlines.
Solid low-level accountancy and bookkeeping knowledge.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
High attention to detail.
Experience in a similar role.
Keen to work in a fast-paced environment, ready to hit the ground running.
