We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established accident repair facility in Southend-on-Sea for the position of Bodyshop Fitter. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced Bodyshop Fitter to join a busy workshop environment where quality and efficiency are highly valued. Competitive hourly rate of £40,000–£50,000 (based on hours worked), with overtime paid at the same rate
Monday to Friday working pattern, 8:00–18:00, ensuring work-life balance

Stripping vehicle panels, dismantling damaged components for repair
Removing and refitting interior trim, lining, and associated parts accurately and efficiently
Organising parts and preparing vehicles for the next stage of the repair process
Ensuring all work is completed safely, to high standards, and within deadlines
Maintaining productivity in a fast-paced bodyshop environment
Contributing to team efforts to deliver consistent, high-quality repairsRequirements of the Bodyshop Fitter:
Proven experience as a Bodyshop MET Technician, ideally within a busy accident repair shop
Knowledge of vehicle dismantling, stripping, and reassembly procedures
Excellent attention to detail, especially when handling internal components and panels
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
A collaborative team attitude with pride in producing reliable, high-quality work
