This is an excellent opportunity to join a financially strong, independently owned business delivering integrated Building Management System (BMS) solutions nationwide. With continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their engineering team with an engineer who enjoys commissioning new installations, optimising existing systems and providing high-quality technical support to clients.

This role is predominantly commissioning focused, with additional service and maintenance responsibilities to support existing customer sites. You'll be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from software modifications and strategy implementation through to system testing, client demonstrations and final handover.

Whether you're already an experienced Commissioning Engineer or a Service Engineer looking to develop further into commissioning, the company offers ongoing technical training and genuine opportunities for long-term career progression.

The Role

Carry out software modifications, control strategy improvements and energy optimisation on existing installations.
Perform planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and reactive service visits across customer sites.
Diagnose faults within BMS controllers, field devices, HVAC plant and communication networks, providing effective technical solutions.
Support system integration with HVAC, lighting, metering, access control and other building services.
Produce commissioning documentation, test records and technical reports, ensuring projects are completed to a high standard.
Provide client training and technical support during project handover.
The Candidate

Experience commissioning Building Management Systems.
Service and fault-finding experience on BMS systems advantageous.
Good knowledge of Trend and/or Tridium (Niagara) platforms.
Experience writing or modifying control strategies and software would be highly desirable.
Understanding of HVAC plant and associated building services.
Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
Electrical qualification or relevant engineering background preferred.
Full UK Driving Licence.
If you're looking to join a company that values technical excellence, invests in its engineers and offers exposure to a wide range of commissioning projects and modern building technologies, we'd like to hear from you.
