BMS Optimisation Engineer
Location: Central London

I am supporting an established BMS Integrator looking to appoint an experienced BMS Optimisation Engineer to support the continued growth of its energy and building performance division.
My client have ambitious growth plans and looking for an experienced Trend BMS Engineer to join their team managing projects across Central London.
The Role
Working predominantly across existing end-user sites, you'll be responsible for delivering optimisation, service, upgrade and project works across a varied portfolio of commercial buildings.
This is not a new-build commissioning position. Instead, you'll focus on understanding how buildings are currently operating, identifying inefficiencies and implementing improvements that deliver measurable energy savings and operational benefits.
Typical responsibilities include:
* Reviewing and optimising BMS control strategies.
* Identifying energy-saving opportunities across HVAC systems.
* Carrying out planned maintenance and reactive support.
* Implementing software modifications and system improvements.
* Supporting small upgrade projects and remedial works.
* Producing optimisation reports and recommendations.
* Working closely with clients to establish energy baselines and demonstrate performance improvements.
What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with engineers who have strong Building Management System experience and are comfortable working independently across client sites.
Ideal candidates will have:
* Strong knowledge of Trend Building Management Systems.
* Experience carrying out service, fault finding and optimisation activities.
* Understanding of HVAC plant and associated controls.
* Ability to interpret control strategies and make performance improvements.
* Strong client-facing communication skills.
Experience with Tridium/Niagara systems would be highly advantageous but is not essential.
