About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced BMS Installation Engineer to join a growing Building Management Systems (BMS) business working across commercial projects throughout London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced BMS installer looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their technical skills and gain hands-on experience in BMS testing and commissioning, with a clear pathway to progress into a BMS Commissioning Engineer role.

Key Responsibilities

Install and wire BMS control panels, sensors, actuators, controllers and field devices.

Carry out BMS installation works across commercial buildings and projects.

Read and work from electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.

Install containment, cabling and associated control equipment.

Assist experienced engineers with BMS testing and commissioning.

Carry out fault-finding and resolve installation issues.

Ensure installations are completed safely, accurately and to the required standards.

Work closely with project engineers and commissioning engineers.

Assist with site testing and troubleshooting of BMS systems.

Maintain a high standard of workmanship and health & safety at all times.

Participate in ongoing technical training and development.

You will initially focus on installation while gaining practical exposure to commissioning activities. With training, mentoring and experience, you will have the opportunity to progress into a dedicated BMS Commissioning Engineer position.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience working within BMS installation.

Good knowledge of electrical and/or control systems.

Experience with BMS panels, sensors, controllers and field devices.

Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.

A genuine interest in developing a career within BMS commissioning.

Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.

Strong communication and organisational skills.

Electrical or mechanical qualifications are desirable.

A full UK driving licence.
