Job Description:
As a Biology Teacher, you will have the opportunity to instill a sense of wonder and curiosity about the living world in your students. Your role will involve designing engaging lessons, conducting hands-on experiments, and fostering critical thinking skills that prepare students for academic success and future careers in the biological sciences.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote inquiry-based learning.
Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and enhance student understanding of biological concepts.
Conduct laboratory experiments and investigations that encourage scientific inquiry and develop essential laboratory skills.
Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to support academic growth.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate technology, interdisciplinary connections, and real-world applications into the biology curriculum.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance data, ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Education, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
Proven experience teaching biology at the secondary level, with a strong track record of student achievement.
Deep knowledge of biological principles and concepts, coupled with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
