Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher of Science with expertise in Biology ? Do you have a passion for inspiring the next generation? GSL Education Watford are delighted to present a Biology Teacher position at an exceptional client Secondary School in Slough , starting in September 2024 .
As a Biology Teacher , You'll responsible for:
Planning and delivering Biology lessons that cater to different learning styles in accordance with the AQA curriculum.
Creating hands-on experiments and interactive activities to make learning come alive.
Providing individualized support and guidance to students, helping them excel in their studies.
Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative teaching methods and resources.
Establishing and enforcing classroom rules, manage student behavior, and ensure a safe and respectful atmosphere for learning.
Designing assessments, quizzes, tests, and projects to evaluate students' understanding of Biology concepts.
Essential requirements as a Teacher of Biology :
Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE with UK-based teaching experience.
Hold a relevant Degree at 2:1 or higher.
Have recent classroom teaching experience in teaching Biology, in-line with the AQA curriculum.
A deep passion for Biology and a genuine enthusiasm for sharing your knowledge.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
