BIM Coordinator

The position:

Due to the continued growth we are now looking to add to our Design team in Edinburgh.

What you would do:

·Modelling, drawing and coordinating, mechanical and electrical designs, to ensure projects can be constructed with little or no rework once the site team commence work.

·Attendance on weekly internal model and design team meetings and project BIM meetings with the main contractors.

·Ensuring the latest models, drawings and designs from all other stakeholders are being used and notifying engineers and site team of any changes to these models or drawings.

·Generating revit models from the senior engineers outputs (sketches / hevacomp / cymap / DIALux / Relux).

·Creation of revit families where manufactures files are not available.

·Model Skids & Modules to allow offsite to manufacture and deliver to site.

·Manage clash reporting and clash resolution between disciplines.

·Maintain ACC / BIM360 cloud Models & reporting.

·Provide technical assistance to project team where required while project is ongoing.

·Integration of Cloud Point Surveys.

·Ensure compliance with all project BIM documentation.

·Comply with all EHSQ policies and procedures as required.

What we are looking for:

·Previous Revit MEP experience in the construction / building services field

·Relevant qualification in BIM or Mechanical or Electrical engineering is beneficial

·Ability to communicate in a professional and timely manner (in person and over email)
