The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Project Building Information Modelling BIM Coordinator to join the team in Birchwood.
Estimated Duration - 12 months.
This role has been deemed inside of IR35.

This is a 20-year arrangement to deliver ~£7bn of major projects. We are looking to recruit high value expertise from across regulated and comparable sectors to work in a collaborative environment, delivering major projects, site wide improvements and provision of supporting services.   

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Provide a supporting role to upskill BIM knowledge to internal colleagues and external consultants / subcontractors as desired. 
Developing and cross-checking model information against the Employer Information Requirements (EIR), including clash detection and validation of non-graphical information. 
Development and maintenance of the Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) Strategy. 
Assist Project Engineering Manager in ensuring CAE assurance/compliance with project and client requirements.
Direct, monitor and participate in new developments and enhancements in support of Project and Client requirements.
Helping the project utilise the data that it creates; maximising the use of dashboards to get information into the hands of the project.
Develop and maintain information management performance targets (KPI’s, Metrics).You will have the following qualifications and experience
BIM & Computer Aided Design experience working in both 2D and 3D.
Experience of relevant software such as Revit, Inventor, Aveva E3D and Navisworks. 
Demonstrable experience of operating in a BIM Level 2 compliant environment. 
A clear understanding of BIM and its benefits to the construction industry
Experience gained in a large-scale mission critical environment, ideally in a nuclear environment within either a consultancy or end client. 
Familiarity and experience of Civil, Structural and Architectural building requirements.Get in touch now
