Location:             Birmingham / Warwickshire (With associated travel)

Salary Bracket: £45,000 to £54,000 Per Annum + Package **Salary Bracket - Negotiable on relevant experience**

Our client, an established and leading construction contractor is currently looking to as a Bid Writer to their Facilities Management on a permanent basis, a key role where you will join a successful growing team/division. In this role you will create and submit bids for Facilities Management works, including both Hard FM Services and Soft FM Services. This will also entail completing PQQs and tender questionnaires.

The role will suit a confident Bid Writer, ideally with previous experience working within the FM sector, who can integrate and work with different stakeholders across the division to obtain accurate and up to date information, converting this to successful bids and tenders. Workload will be across both the public and private sectors, with clients including but not limited to the local authorities and health and education sector clients.

Daily duties will include but are not limited to:

Writing high-quality winning proposal documents.
Producing, coordinating and editing written content.
Managing submissions, where required.
Writing bids for a mixture of framework and individual tender projects.
Gathering technical information from internal departments to compile bespoke solutions.
Actively participating in story boarding and development of strategic themes.
Ensuring proposals are prepared in line with tender programme requirements, to the highest quality and aligned with company bid management standards.
Proofreading material and providing technical and commercial writing.
Assisting with the development of bespoke proposals, best practice information, technique guides, template answers and style sheets.
Building and developing relationships with key business sector teams.           
Producing high-quality documents and submissions in line with identified deadlines.
Analysis and review of previous submissions and document, learning for implementation in future bids.
Producing promotional/marketing materials and award submissions.
Managing submission content as part of the wider bid process.
Assembling construction information into compelling submissions.
Writing and editing pre-qualification, capability and expression of interest documents.
Liaise with the wider Pre-construction team for technical content.
Create and edit presentations, capturing and collating evidence to support submissions.
Candidates will ideally:

Hold a relevant qualification such as a degree in Bid Writing / Proposal Management / English / Journalism (or similar)
Have 5+ years’ experience working as a Bid Writer, ideally within the FM sector.
Have experience of working on Hard FM Services and Soft FM Services.
Have experience working with a Tier 1 Construction Contractor
Have experience using CAFM systems/software (Computer Aided Facility Management).
Have strong communication, written, content creation, time management and organizational skills.
Be methodical, with a creative approach to bring new ideas and solutions to associated bid tasks.
Be competent using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Work, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
Be confident creating relationships with different stakeholders, creating a team atmosphere.
