Are you a Bid Writer looking for a new challenge? Would you be interested in helping make the decisions that help to shape tomorrows infrastructure and built environment?

We are working with a main contractor who are looking to add a Bid Writer to their team. With current live projects, projects at the ECI stage, and live tenders; they are looking for a Bid Writer to assist the work-winning team to secure future projects.

As the Bid Writer, you'll be managed by a Bid Manager as part of the Pre-Construction team, supporting tender submission preparation and overall work winning.



Duties will include:

Study tender documentation and information provided.
Undertake site visits and discussions with key subcontractors.
Work with the selected designer and consultants on Design & Build contracts.
Liaise with the client, client designer ad stakeholders when required.
Liaise with other staff for support (Design, Contracts, Plant, Senior Management)
Coordinate and produce high quality, accurate and attractive tender documents, responses and presentations.
Understand and define client requirements from tender documents and wider industry knowledge.
Help define the best offer to win each tender.
Decide on the best method to present a persuasive and compelling offer that meets client and tender requirements.
Aid the Estimator to assess & highlight risks that are to be taken by the company subject to tender review process.
Ensure that quality/technical envelope submissions are complete and submitted on time.
Solicit feedback on tender submissions, continually review the content & quality of submissions to increase the company's success rates.​

The Ideal candidate:

· Will be able to display previous experience in bid writing and submission formatting.

· IT Microsoft Office skills -Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

· Ability to manage multiple bids in line with submission dates.
