Description:

Our client a large Estates Maintenance business has an exciting new opportunity for a Bid Manager to join them on a permanent basis. As the Bid Manager you’ll report directly into the Managing Director and be responsible for managing the entire bid process for them. This role is homebased and will require some office presence at their head offices in Surrey.

Key Responsibilities –

* Develop bid management procedures and ensure that they are implemented at each stage of the bid process.

* Collaborates with the operational and commercial teams to drive alignment on regional initiatives.

* Provides vision and guidance to assure initiation and successful execution of the strategy.

* Builds relationships with and influences industry associations positively at all levels.

* Creates market awareness, through thought-leadership activities and selling the Brand.

* Managing the bid qualification process for all new opportunities

* Chair PQQ and bid kick off meetings and solution development.

* Establish clear understanding of key client bid requirements and key deliverables and develop a win plan for each opportunity.

* Liaise with the client team, maintain close contact, and develop relationships with key decision makers throughout the bid process.

* Support the commercial teams to secure more work from existing clients including preparation of proposals and client liaison.

* Manage the clarification process with the client including keeping the bid team fully up to date with clarification and document changes.

* Initiate and drive innovation from the bid team including utilizing/introducing successful innovation from previous contracts.

* Lead the bid team at internal adjudication ensuring that procedures are followed, and the bid is well prepared

* Ensure that the outcome from adjudication is properly documented and incorporated into bid submissions.

* Support the teams to prepare for site visits and interviewing, including presentations and briefings on bid promises.

* Servicing the needs of existing clients.

* Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market.

* Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the team.
