BI Manager - Finance Transformation - £70K

Warwick based - Hyrbid working

I'm working with a growing, multi-site business looking for a BI Manager to join the team in a newly created, standalone role while they go through a finance transformation.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has worked within a finance environment and understands finance processes, but is also highly tech/data-focused, with ownership of Power BI, automation and a range of transformation projects.

The role:

Own and develop the Power BI reporting environment, including data models, DAX and dashboards
Lead finance automation and process improvement using Power BI, Power Query, VBA, Python and AI
Deliver transformation projects across Finance, including Sage 200, Purchase Order systems and AI/OCR invoice processing
Turn complex financial and operational data into meaningful commercial insight
Work closely with Finance, Operations and Commercial teams to identify opportunities for improvement
Act as the finance SME for automation, digital transformation and data-driven ways of workingWhat we're looking for:

Previous experience working within a finance environment, with a good understanding of finance processes, reporting and controls
Strong Power BI experience - DAX, data modelling and dashboard development
Proven finance transformation / process improvement experience
Strong VBA / Excel skills and experience writing complex macros
Practical Python experience for automation, data analysis or reporting
Experience delivering technology-enabled change and automation projects
Confident stakeholder and project management skillsA really varied role combining Finance, Data, BI, Automation and Transformation, with the opportunity to genuinely shape how the finance function operates as the business continues to grow
