Salary: £32 per hour
Doncaster Council is seeking a dedicated Best Interest Assessor to join our team. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to decision-making processes that uphold the rights and well-being of vulnerable adults.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting Best Interest assessments in accordance with the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
Evaluating complex situations involving vulnerable adults to determine their best interests.
Collaborating with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams to gather relevant information and make informed decisions.
Providing clear and concise reports outlining assessment findings and recommendations.Requirements:
Qualified Best Interest Assessor with relevant experience.
Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and associated legislation.
Registered with a relevant professional body (e.g., Social Work England, Nursing and Midwifery Council).
Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to reach balanced decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach.Benefits:
