Pay: £90 - £105 per day
Are you passionate about helping young people overcome behavioural challenges and achieve success in school?
A welcoming and supportive school in Thatcham is seeking a Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who require additional behavioural support and help them engage positively with learning.
The Behaviour Teaching Assistant will work with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, supporting them to manage emotions, develop positive behaviour strategies, and build confidence. The successful Behaviour Teaching Assistant will be a positive role model and a key source of support throughout the school day.
As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils who display challenging behaviour in and out of the classroom
* Help implement behaviour management plans and intervention strategies
* Encourage positive behaviour and engagement with learning
* Support emotional regulation and conflict resolution
* Build strong and trusting relationships with pupils
* Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionalsThe school is looking for a resilient, patient, and proactive Behaviour Teaching Assistant who can remain calm under pressure and maintain a consistent approach. Experience within education, youth work, mentoring, care, or behavioural support would be highly beneficial.
