The Role

As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you'll supervise classes when teachers are absent. All lessons are fully planned and work is pre-set, so your focus is on:

Keeping pupils engaged and on task.
Managing classroom behaviour positively and consistently.
Creating a calm, safe and productive learning environment.
Supporting students aged 11-16 to achieve their best.
Reporting back to teaching staff at the end of the lesson.
This is not a teaching role, so there is no lesson planning or marking involved.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
