Behaviour Support Assistant

Location:

Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds, LS11

Job Type:

Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry:

Salary:

£85 - £100 Per day

Job Duties:

Provide support to children with challenging behaviour
Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies
Work closely with teachers and other staff members to create a positive learning environment
Supervise pupils during break times and in the classroom
Document and report any behavioural incidents

Required Qualifications:

A valid DBS check

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Prior experience working with children or young people

Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of behaviour management techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Strong organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Qualification in Teaching Assistant or Childcare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
