We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Behaviour Specialist to join our dynamic team in Birmingham.

Our partner school support students aged 4 to 11. The school is known for its dedication to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment. the school was just recognised for its strong leadership and management, positive behaviour and attitudes, and effective educational quality.​

The school has also adopted Trauma Informed Approaches, equipping staff with the training necessary to consider the impacts of trauma when organising learning spaces and managing relationships. Responsibilities:

* Design and apply behaviour management plans to support individual students and groups.

* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to personalise support to individual student needs.

* Observe, assess, and make any required modifications to behaviour strategies.

* Conduct training sessions for staff on behaviour management techniques.

* Provide 1:1 support in classrooms to assist students in overcoming behavioural challenges.

Requirements:

* Enhanced DBS check is essential.

* Previous experience working with children or adults with additional needs.

* A relevant teaching or educational psychology qualification required.

* Proven ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively and sensitively.

* Experience with trauma-informed practices is highly desirable.

Additional Details:

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.

Salary: Final salary based on experience.

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.
