Behaviour Mentor
A Rewarding Opportunity to Support Young People
We're looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support children and young people across Wiltshire through personalised 1:1 mentoring.
Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you'll support learners who may be struggling to engage with education due to behavioural, social, emotional, or additional needs. Your role will be to build positive relationships, encourage engagement, develop confidence, and help young people overcome barriers that may be impacting their education and wellbeing.
This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who are confident, resilient, and passionate about helping vulnerable young people achieve positive outcomes.

Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour

Requirements
Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting, including mentoring, teaching, tutoring, learning support, teaching assistant, youth work, or similar roles
Experience supporting children and young people with behavioural needs is desirable
Ability to build rapport and maintain professional boundaries
Strong communication and de-escalation skills
Patient, adaptable, and resilient approach
Confidence working independently in a 1:1 environment
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally within Wiltshire
