Affinity Partnerships is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of Orchard Hill College & Academy Trust for a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join the team at The Pride Academy.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people by supporting their personal development, emotional wellbeing, and engagement in learning.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who may experience social, emotional, behavioural, or communication challenges. You will provide individual and small-group support, helping students develop positive behaviours, build resilience, and achieve their full potential both in and beyond the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
Provide mentoring and pastoral support to students.
Build positive, trusted relationships that encourage engagement and progress.
Support the implementation of behaviour and intervention plans.
Promote positive behaviour, attendance, and wellbeing.
Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and external professionals.
Monitor and record student progress and contribute to reviews and planning.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Passionate about supporting young people.
Patient, resilient, and empathetic.
Confident in managing challenging behaviour positively and professionally.
An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Experienced in education, youth work, social care, mentoring, or a similar setting.Experience supporting children and young people with SEN, SEMH, Autism (ASC), ADHD, or additional needs would be advantageous.
