About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support pupils across Manchester from September. You will work closely with children who require additional behavioural, emotional, and learning support, helping them engage positively with their education and reach their full potential.

This is a part-time position (approximately 20 hours per week), with working hours available Monday to Friday, either mornings or afternoons, between 9:00am and 3:00pm, offering flexibility around the school day.

What We're Looking For

A minimum of 6 months' experience working with children in the UK
Essential: Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Youth Worker, Support Worker, or in a similar child-focused role is desirable
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A patient, resilient, and proactive approach to supporting children with behavioural and emotional needs
The ability to build positive relationships and encourage engagement with learning
A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential
To Be Eligible You Must

Hold the Right to Work in the UK
Have an Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Child Workforce (or be willing to apply for one)
Provide two professional references from child-related roles
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
